UPDATES 1/16/10- HAPPY NEW YEAR- I've added a few new video clips under the kids exercise and testimonial sections. 

We are running a Biggest Loser Contest at the gym. So far everyone has lost at least one pound in a week! We are now partnering with Coastal Medical and Wellness Center another quality Chiropractor. Website to be added later.

UPDATE 4/12/09- WE ARE AN OFFICIAL HAMMER STRENGTH TRAINING FACILITY! If you've been by our facility you noticed that we have Hammerstrength plate loaded equipment. This equipment is used by athletes, but is also great for the average person to build strength correct  an asymmetry. UPDATE 3/26/09- WE ARE A GO! Friends today was a milestone day in the journey to open The Factory.  Today we received the certificate of occupancy from the county. I'm heading down  tomorrow to get my occupational license first thing in the am and we will be rolling. We will be open 7a tomorrow if you'd like to come down a get a sweat in. Monday we will be on regular hours 5a-10p M-F, 7a-8p on Sat and 8a-5p on Sun. Come down and see what makes us different.

UPDATE 3/21/09- Friends, I'm bringing you news two days prior to our posted opening day. We had 4 inspections to get through by Friday. We were able to get through 2 of the 4. The 2 that are left should be knocked out no later than Tuesday. As you can see from the pics. the flooring is in and down excluding the section in front of the bathrooms  and storage room. That will be completed this Monday. Bottom line is that we have pushed the date for opening to Thursday March 26th. If you look back at the pics and when we started and look now, we've come a long way in a short amount of time! Take a look at the pics I just loaded. The should give you a great idea of the equipment we have. I will load pics of the bathrooms on Sunday or Monday.

We will be there on Monday at 8am til 6pm doing sign ups. Come by, say hello and take a tour. I think you'll like what you see. The same offers are still in place. the Gym bag seems to be a hit. I actually changed the gym bag from the one posted on the website. This bag is bigger, has a water bottle and wet pockets.

It's not that far from coming to fruition. The Factory is coming! Kevin

UPDATE 3/15/09- Hello everyone, we're just 8 days away from opening one of the most innovative fitness and performance centers on the Treasure Coast. If you've been following the updates and viewing the photo album, you've seen the buildout progress. I spent this past weekend laying down the plyorobic flooring. It's pretty much done with the exception of the area in front of the bathrooms and the front of the building around the double doors. The tile was set in the men's locker room and they've started in the womens locker room.  The equipment is due to show up Monday morning. Friends we're not far off. Our date is still March 23rd. and so far it's holding up. We have some inspections to go through this week with the county. So keep your fingers crossed. With the equipment being installed tomorrow, now is the time to come through and take a tour. I know there are some of you that have a wait and see attitude. Well come down and see it for yourself.....It's happening!

Hopefully by now you've seen my commercial. It's running on the following networks. Comedy channel, Discovery, Entertainment Tv, Fox & Friends, Animal Planet, Food Network, ESPN and Mtv!

UPDATE-2/20/09-I've posted new pics of the build out. As you can see it's progressing nicely. We are on track for the 23rd.  I shot  footage  for my commercial today. If everything goes well, it should be on the air next weekend. I'm extending the offer I used on the commercial. If you sign up before March 23rd, I'll give you a free Factory logo gym bag. UPDATE 2/14/09
Photo Album added to website!
A photo album  has been added to the website! The album will have photos of the construction as it progresses. The contractor had the floor cut on Friday. The plumbers will be in on Monday to lay the plumbing in for the locker rooms. the electrical will be tied into the breakers as well at this time. From there the framers will be in to do the frame work.

Starting Monday February, 16th, I will be reaching out to you to start pre-sales. In addition to the offers previously mentioned I will be giving the first 150 people that sign up for a year a free gym bag. the pictures of the gym bags are also in the photo album!

Also the current opening date is slated for March 23rd!

UPDATE 1/30/09- GREAT NEWS! A wise man once said a picture is worth a thousand words. The following pictures is worth one word to me, FINALLY!  We have endeavored to persevere! I'm told that we since our build out is not that complicated that it could be done in 4 weeks.

 I'm betting on the second week of March.  So having said that I will be starting to contact all of you to start pre-sales this coming week. As an incentive those that sign up for a year will receive a Polar Body Age Assessment, $150 value for $75. Polar is the foremost authority on fitness cardiovascular tools. UPDATE 1/1/09 Happy Holidays from all of us at The Factory!. 2008 was a year of change for me personally and as you well know for our country as a whole. For some people change is something to be avoided. for me change is something to be embraced!  If allowed, change promotes personal growth. It allows us to step outside our comfort zone. Most people will never challenge their comfort zone. My job as a trainer and as a person is to challenge your comfort zone as well as challenge my own.

Well I'm sure you will agree that I've alway been good at challenging your comfort zone. My dream of opening my own place coupled with leaving FPL has challenged my comfort zone! This has been a positive for me though and has allowed me to grow in some ways that I never imagined. Everyone should try something that takes them out of their comfort zone. The only thing you have to fear is fear itself. Fear keeps us from achieving many of our goals because we're afraid to fail.

The process involved with opening The Factory has allowed me to grow. Through the set backs I've learned so much about my self and about the people around me and how strong the friendships that I've made living here have endured. Some were not so strong and have fallen by the wayside. I have  enjoyed support from everyone. I must say that I appreciate your patience during this process and I'm greatful.

After a few meetings with the principal planner, I was told that the administrative siteplan that was submitted on 12/9 should not be a long process. I've made it a point to visit them once a week to show my face and it seems to be  working. we could have our builders permit this month. Once we have that we'll be on our way to getting this thing off the ground and getting you guys into a topnotch facility that has you in mind instead of the gym owners boat  or car payment!

In the meantime I'm still training clients in my garage. It's clean,cozy and cool with the change in the weather.So if you want to get the year stated off right drop me a line. I have all of the toys at my disposal. As you can see from the sign below I've put up coming soon signs. Previously I felt that coming soon signs would lose their impact if left up for months without seeing any progress.  I'm seeing progress with the county, so I felt it's time to put up the signs to let people know we're coming!

UPDATE 10/23/08 Unfortunately it has taken longer to get resolution of the comments from Martin County than I anticipated. The comments were in response to our builders permit application done in September. Due to the time frame involved our original opening date has been pushed back to sometime in December. It's a frustrating time for me and I know for all of you that have been waiting for me to open. I assure you if I had it my way I would've been open by now. The process unfortunately is the process and we must follow it to prevent any issues down the road. The good news is that we have resolution to the county's concerns, now we have to get them to into an application and get it pushed through as soon as we can. I will be providing you updates as soon as I get them.

For those of you that signed up based on the original opening date. I have pushed the date back to December 1st. I will adjust accordingly if that date moves further out.

Please bear with me as we get through this process. I assure you it will be worth it for you  long term! If you have any questions please feel free to call me.

UPDATE 9/4/08: Finally! a contractor has been selected and a contract signed. The builder is Treasure Coast Structures. With a six week build out planned, the opening date will be around 10/24 if  not sooner.

With the commencement of the build out the website will be one way to see the build-out as it progresses. Also stop by. We will have someone at the site two weeks after the beginning of the build-out

Me or one of my  representatives will be contacting you to set up your member account prior to opening. Our goal is to have 250 members prior to the doors opening in October. They will have a list of equipment and be able to tell you why we're different from other gyms or health clubs in the area!

UPDATE 7/28/08 The contractor selection process should be wrapped up by 8/2/08 if not sooner. The deadline to submit bids is 7/31/08. After a contractor has been selected and we at THE FACTORY understand the duration of the build-out we will post that information and start pre-sales.
